At the end of the training the delegate will be able to: - Comply with Safety Regulations Identify the types of broken rail that can be temporarily operated under restrictions - Identify the requirements for dealing with broken and damaged rails - State the correct documentation to identify tolerances for rail breaks and damage - Extract correct data from documentation to mitigate rail breaks/damage or block the line - Ensure that clamping and bridging equipment has been fitted to standard.

Audience

Delegates must be a minimum age of 18. Meet the medical requirements of Network Rail Standard NR/L2/OHS/00124 Medical Fitness Level 1. Have a good level of literacy to meet Entry Qualifications. Meet the requirements of Network Rail Standard NR/L1/OHS/051 (Drugs and Alcohol).
